Pied Poesy

Admittedly Maithili has a larger galaxy of ingenious poets but they all have not been included here owing to certain limitations. I must, however, confess that their poetic contributions were neither dross nor marginal but as I remained selective in showcasing the pronounced post-independence tendencies in Maithili poetry and in granting adequate space to creative artists of newer generation, they apologetically, could not stand accommodated right now here.
