During the late 1970s and early 1908s, two hundred tablets or fragments of tablets were found at the ancient site of Sippir, once at the heart of cultural and commercial life in Mesopotamia. This report presents 136 of these tablets, with translation, as well as discussions of their provenance, contents and themes. Includes useful indices of personal names, month names, place names, divine names, professions and words discussed.
