The American Church is at a crossroad of either fragmenting and splintering into more divisive groups or finding renewal and restoration from God's Spirit for a visible witness of unity among God's people. This book is one attempt at bridging the gap between Israel and the Church and focusing on their overlapping teachings between the Bible and the Talmud. Christianity started as a Jewish religion and it needs to be understood within its original context and development. The future and destiny of the Church is directly related to Israel both historically and textually. Each chapter is a kind of rabbinic story for the Christian soul. There is a beauty and inter-relationship throughout the Bible and Talmud and both can learn from the wisdom and teachings of the ancient Jewish rabbinical tradition. The Church and Israel are at the crossroads and intersection of God doing something new in bringing Jews and Gentiles together as they both understand themselves as messianic movements.
