In a world where dragons have evolved to be modern day pets, a disgraced vet resorts to an illegal practice to make ends meet: de-flaming, the process of removing a dragon's ability to breathe fire. Much like the process of debarking of dogs, this procedure is seen as inhumane and cruel. But Iken has no other choice.
