The New Grove Wagner

The New Grove Wagner was added to the Composer Biography Series to mark the centenary of Wagner's death. The biographical chapters of the book are written by John Deathridge, a scholar who has worked on the new Wagner edition and catalogue and whose recent research has met with enthusiastic praise. Dr. Deathridge has revised the work-list and bibliography in light of recent findings.
