An account of the efforts by the Jewish Agency in the far corners of the world to bring the remnants of Jewry to their homeland, Israel. This work required a lot of ingenuity and unconventional thinking and often entailed risks. This book should be required reading for those influenced by the sometimes unfavorable reports by the media, but is good reading for anyone working in our Jewish communities, gathering exiles around the world.
