I'm spiritually 33 years old in the Lord on November 4, 2016. I've been studying my Bible for that long. I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit in 1998. In 1989, I went with Teen Missions International to California on a mission trip. In 1992, I traveled to Yosemite National Park in California, with an organization called A Christian Ministry in the National Parks where I preached to campers and served as a rooms keeper ministering through Friendship Evangelism. I loved Yosemite and my ministry team there. I love God's Word so much so that sharing it even in everyday situations is just as much a passion of mine as writing is. When I started loving and serving God, I had no clue where to start. But God helped me by putting me amid women and men who were like-minded in the quest for the knowledge of God. However, their passion was also the application of it in their life. It was those great friends and some awesome Christian music that God's Word grew within me. All Christians start out as "babes in Christ" and must drink their own cup of salvation. The cup is small, maybe even compact containing only so much of that which we drink, Christ Jesus Himself and His suffering. It's also a cup of glory that can bring life-giving water to others who come along our path. A cup is a small thing until you drink or use it to place other things such as flour or oil into a recipe. So, our cup of salvation is indeed extremely essential to our walk with the Lord. Having a burden for new believers and a zeal for God's Word will help you to live a full Christian life. But here is a word of advice, make sure you do and learn God's Word with the Helper, the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:13). He will teach you how to drink and why. I would like to dedicate this book to the spiritual leaders, friends and professors at Bethel University (College) who led me along. I love and miss you all terribly! God bless you all!
