Case Studies in Immunology

To help students review and expand their knowledge of immunology in a clinical context, the Companion consists of nineteen cases illustrating key points in immunology. Each begins with a brief, fully illustrated review of the relevant science, and follows the story of a real patient, with a simple explanation of the pathology and the treatment, and a question-and-answer discussion highlighting relevant points from many areas of basic and clinical immunology. Each case is features photographs and micrographs which illustrate the clinical conditions described.
