Long ago, magic was banished from the world because of its corrupting influence, and the memory and history of it erased. But when Jack Scot uses a spell by accident, he restores magic and releases dangerous forces back into the world. These forces now guard the only spell that can again banish the magic. But should Jack seek that? Why can't magic be used for good instead of evil? Jack discovers the problem isn't with magic, but the powers behind the magic.
