Exo-Sanctuaries

A collaborative Book Art/Art Book featuring original artwork and poetry created by members of the Rough Ruby Arts Collective. The artist-members are dedicated to creating art as a force for social change and dialogue. 5 members joined to create Exo-Sanctuaries exploring the relationship between the intimate and the public, the natural and the manufactured, the spiritual and the concrete, vulnerability and fortitude, with an eye to the relationship between the exterior and interior worlds in which we live. The book is comprised of full-color saturated and dynamic images integrating the written word and visual art. The book features a forward by Joanna Roche.
