Richard Lagow (ca. 1777-1843) was born in Virginia. He and his wife Margery were living in Tennessee by 1798, after which they moved to Kentucky and returned to Tennessee. They had at least ten children. He married a widow, Lucinda Brown, after his wife's death; they had no children. Descendants live throughout the United States. Allied families include Barbee, Delapp, Jenne and Ryan.
