Dictionary of Ecology & the Environment

A dictionary of ecology and environment in English and French, which gives the basic terms used in environmental studies with translations into the other language. About 3,000 main words are listed in each language, with thousands of examples translated. The vocabulary covers all aspects of the subject including climate, refuse disposal and endangered species. Throughout the text short quotations are given from current newspapers and magazines, to show that the terms used in the dictionary do exist in real life.
