Description: Ten years ago, noted illustrator Barry Moser undertook the illustration and design of a new edition of the Bible. In addition to enjoying a long and much-lauded artistic career, Mr. Moser is a former Methodist preacher, so his interest was both artistic as well as spiritual. Requiring four years of development, Mr. Moser produced 232 illustrations and worked with a host of specialists to perfect the elements that make his edition of the Bible unique. Barry Moser's The Holy Bible 2004 calendar includes 24 of the illustrations, along with related Scripture and commentary from the illustrator. Together they make a powerful statement of belief. Notes: This calendar is based on images provided for the King James version of the Pennyroyal Caxton Bible. A hand-made, limited-edition run of 400 copies of this Bible were produced and sold for $10,000 per copy. Viking offers a manufactured edition at $65.
