The Marcel Breuer Doctoral School

This richly illustrated album introduces the work of 39 young architects who earned their Doctor of Liberal Arts degree at the Marcel Breuer Doctoral School between 2003 and 2011. Heavily influenced by school founder Marcel Breuer’s emphasis on teaching fine arts—drawing, sculpture, and applied art—these students demonstrate their exceptional skills through their work with the Early Christian Burial Ground of Pécs and the rehabilitation of several university buildings. The result is a seamless visual display of function, science, and art.
