Cicero from the past to the future

Culture is an attitude: this is the topic of De Oratore. "Culture naturally confers authority on those who own it because our way of being, our behaviour shows what we have made our own, what has entered our human baggage, without the need to show off". The Orator is the perfect Statesman; loyalty to his Country and a wide culture are the characteristics of his success and the grant of good guide for the government. Cicero has really tried to find a method and practical tools to read correctly the reality. A lesson for the present and the future.
