Myths, legends and h tories, is a fantastic story, where the oral tradition of rural people of a region in the northern department of Valle del Cauca is collected. In the afternoons, after the farm's own work, in the corridors of the houses, families gather to tell the stories that have been passed from parents to children generation after generation since time immemorial. In the mouth of the elders the elf, the patasola, the weeping woman, the mother mount, the viru�as, the witches come alive and everything that spawn has been created. The stories of rich enchanted treasures come out, of burials that have not been discovered because the one who kept them made a pact with the devil and gave him his soul in exchange for the secret of his burial was not revealed.There are also events that really happened and are preserved in the memory of the people, since these are part of the collective memory of the inhabitants of the area.Its main objective is this writing, to preserve the history of the foundation of the corregimiento of El Balsal, to preserve it and for future generations to know its origin.P break the defense of nature that the creator gave us so lavishly.
