The Tuley Family Memoirs

Charles Tuley was born in Farquier County, Virginia. He married Elizabeth Floyd, daughter of Col. William Floyd and Abadiah Davis Floyd of Amherst County, Virginia in about 1769. They had seven children. In about 1779, Charles Tuley migrated to Kentucky, probably in a company headed by his brother-in-law, Col. John Floyd. His wife and children joined him in Kentucky in the fall of 1783. He died in Jefferson County, Kentucky in about 1786. Descendants lived in Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois and elsewhere.
