Revisiting Literacy

Being illiterate excludes people from making use of some of the most common resources of information and enjoyment available to others. This book aims to provide teachers with a variety of relevant and enjoyable situations through which children who are not succeeding as readers and writers are encouraged to try again; to revisit literacy. in special intervention settings, both with small groups, and individual children. The book intends to relate theory to practical ideas for practicing and trainee teachers.
