Oceans Policy for Canada

Booklet presenting a summary of the overall strategy of the federalgovernment on oceans policies and programs. The need for policy, the goalsand the action plan, including the place of the National Marine Council, theOcean Technology Promotion Office, the Canada Oceans Act, the North PacificScience Organization, and the Interdepartmental Committee on Oceans arepresented, as well as means of implementing the 200-mile limit andconservation measures to be taken.
