Smith Family

George Smith was born 8 July 1780, in Delaware, the son of Thomas and Mary Smith. He married Barbara Bash (1780-1859), daughter of Martin and Catharine Bash, in 1803 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. They had ten children. He died in Coshocton County, Ohio, 18 Nov. 1847. Descendants lived in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, and elsewhere.
