1996 Census of Population and Housing

The purpose of this document is to initiate public consultation regarding the nature and content of the 1996 Census. ABS plans for procedures to be followed in the 1996 Census in the areas of collection operations, privacy and confidentiality, processing and publishing of the results are outlined.
