Wallace Butterfield, British architect, knew that he has been a failure at nearly everything, including relationships. But what he didn’t know — couldn’t know — was that he was special. He would have been amazed to know how exceptional he really was.

Wallace’s only hope is an invitation from Reverend Poda-Pirudi, chairman of the Westminster Abbey Foundation, London, England, to bid on the design for a new tower for the Abbey.

Unfortunately a coven of absinthe-drinking Witches have taken an interest in the architect special quality and have decided that they will do anything (kidnapping, torture, or even burning at the stake) to get what they want from him.

What do the Witches want? Will they succeed in burning Wallace at the stake? Who is Reverend Poda-Pirudi and what can he do to try to save Wallace?
