Fisheries and Oceans Research Centres

Study documenting some of the economic, industrial and technological benefits received as a result of the scientific activities of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, expressed in quantitative terms and supplemented by qualitative analyses. The principal analyses focus on federal and private sector S & T expenditures, and federal scientific contracts. The report provides details of scientific contracts led by DFO's 2 largest research centres: the Bedford Institute of Oceanography and the Institute of Ocean Sciences.
