Barcroft Family Records

Ambrose Barcroft (d.1724) was a descendant of Gilbert de Berecroft (ca. 1060) who owned estates in Lancashire. For centuries the various branches of the Barcroft family owned estates in Lancashire. Ambrose immigrated to America in the early 1700s. His numerous descendants live throughout the United States.
