Oliver-Miner Ancestors and Descendants

Thomas Miner was born at Chew-Magna, Somerset, England, in 1608, the son of Clement Miner. He immigrated to America in 1629 and settled at Charlestown, Massachusetts. He married Grace Palmer, daughter of Walter Paler, at Rehoboth, Massachusetts, in 1634. They had ten children, 1635-1655. The family moved to Hingham, Massachusetts, in 1635; to New London, Connecticut, in 1649; and to Stonington, Connecticut, in 1652. He died at Stonington in 1690. Descendants lived Connecticut, New York, Illinois, and elsewhere.
