Frank Donahue knows he is playing a dangerous game in his role as an investigative journalist and publisher of Panama Express. He is living in Panama, where corruption seems to go all the way up to the president. His reporting on the vagaries of the corrupt government and other organisations has made him many friends but also many enemies. Frank, an ex-US marine, figures he can take care of any trouble that might come along.He is divorced, resigned to living his life alone, until Shauna, a striking attractive blonde woman, enters his life and asks him to help in tracking down her estranged husband, Paul, who has mysteriously disappeared. Frank, even at their first meeting, feels a bond between himself and Shauna, and agrees to help, little knowing that his investigations will set him on the trail of dangerous serial killers.But there is even more danger ahead because of his investigations of the government.
