Canada's Green Plan is the national strategy and action plan for sustainable development launched by the federal government in December 1990. This report discusses the achievements of the second year and also places the year in perspective. The remainder of the report is divided into three parts. Part 1 reviews performance relative to the goals of the Green Plan, and illustrates the linkages between program components. Part 2 summarizes actions taken in year 2 of the Plan that support program targets. A preview of plans for year 3 is also presented. Part 3 summarizes financial requirements for year 3 of the Green Plan, as well as for previous years.
