A Mathematica Manual for Engineering Mechanics

This supplement is intended to teach the reader how to solve statics/dynamics problems using Mathematica®. It is closely coupled to the accompanying text and works through many of the sample problems for each chapter in detail. The manual was created in Mathematica® and demonstrates how quality technical documents can be created entirely using the software. Chapter 1 is a general introduction to Mathematca that concludes with a sample application and can be studied while reading Chapter 1 of the accompanying text.
