The Pacific Tuna

Number 95/2 in the Economics Division Working Papers South Pacific. This paper focuses on the need for new policies to support resource development in the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands and the Republic of Palau. The new, and currently booming, tuna longlining and trans-shipment industry of Micronesia is taken as an example of the industrialisation trends and opportunities in the Pacific region as a whole.
