Lithology, Depositional Setting and Coal Rank-depth Relationships in the Jurassic-Cretaceous Kootenay Group at Mount Allan, Cascade Coal Basin, Alberta

This report describes the lithologic succession on Mount Allanfrom the base of the Kootenay Group to the lower part of theoverlying Blairmore Group, reviews inferences regarding thedepositional setting of these strata, and presents the coal rankdata, which may provide a reference coalification curve for thisarea.
