Into the Valley

Johann Philipp Brentz (1709-1794), son of Johann Heinrich Brents (1672- 1727) and grandson of Hanz Melchior Brentz (ca. 1646-1726), arrived in Pennsylvania in 1751 from Duehren, Germany. In 1731, he married Maria Margaretha Bender (1712-1748). Descendants lived in Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania and elsewhere.
