Drawn Away from Home

One day everything is fine, the next you find yourself "drawn away from home"! That is the situation that I found myself in after working at home for twenty-odd years. Yes, I had been away a few days here, a week there, but things were all about to change. Circumstances were about to take me further a-field, out of commuting distance, off to other countries, away from family and friends, away from a much loved Montrose Football Club. Departing into the unknown I had a wife who could not see me off from the railway station- we had never been parted- two boys who acted as though they weren't really bothered, but I could see the look on their faces. It was a shock to the system, but a bigger shock was yet to come. Have you ever tried to support your team away from home!
