After living for several years in Atlanta, trying to make a name for herself in the interior design industry but without success, Kathy returns to Virginia. Getting her foot in the door with a new company in Lynchburg seemed to open up a new world for Kathy. Then the nightmares, which had long been forgotten, started after she moved into her apartment. Kathy had not even thought of the time where she and her friend wandered deep into the woods as young teens and came across a cabin. Thinking the cabin was abandoned they went inside when soon after they were running for their lives being followed closely by a strange man from the woods. Two weeks later, Kathy's friend went missing. Ten years have gone by and now the nightmares of that day are returning. Kathy does not connect the incidents that start happening to her until it is too late. With her life going in a good direction involving her career and a new relationship, who happens to be a charming detective, Kathy now is wondering if she will live to enjoy her life at all.
