Beginnings

Beginnings: Longing to Belong is a ten-week study that explores the importance of community in the Christian faith, using fire as its central metaphor. Each session includes a meal, a video presentation, and a small-group discussion. The study can be used as part of the Beginnings series or as a stand-alone program.

This Director's Manual is intended to be used by the person who is responsible for the overall program. It includes step-by-step instructions for conducting a successful program in your congregation. You will find detailed descriptions of the responsibilities of the director, meal coordinator, music/worship leader, small-group leaders and helpers, and others who can help with the program. You will also find menu suggestions, session discussion guides, and sample forms.
