The Path from the Shadows

In a world where choices are privileges rather than rights, a young priestess struggles with the life that she had no part in choosing. She is assigned as a spiritual guide for warriors on a mission of vital importance. They intend to penetrate a land of evil known as the Shadowed Zone and destroy a powerful wizard who resides there. If they fail, their own fair realm of Al'Klathiu will fall to darkness as well. Priestess Azlee meets an ally from a far land and falls in love with him though is forbidden. Her heart constantly wavers. Should she abandon responsibility to be with the man she loves or return to her duties with a broken heart and crushed spirit? Then, he becomes a captive in the Shadowed Zone, and she is the only one who will help him. She must battle the very face of evil not once, but several times, to bring herself and her dear one back from the Shadows. If she succeeds she still must decide whether to love or continue living as an unhappy priestess. Either choice will change Al'Klathiu forever.
