Edmund for Short

China Plate Farm is all in a dither. A new calf is about to be born and the animals can hardly wait. No one, least of all his best friend Hillary, has any time for Edmund's consternation about an entirely different matter. Edmund wants to know why all of the cows have such grand names - Crows-take-to-the-air, Full-line-of-washing and Steeple-above-the-trees - while Edmund is just, well, Edmund.

As usual, Edmund finds the answer to his problem in a GREAT IDEA, which, although it may not work out exactly as planned, makes for a story that is Always-a-delight-to-read.
