Infectious Diseases in Children

Dealing with children who have or may be exposed to infectious diseases takes extra special care. Immature body systems cannot handle exposure to disease in the same way as adult systems. Action must be taken swiftly but carefully and all those involved with the sick child must know what they are doing.
