Technical Change and Industrial Relations

This 1956 study, undertaken by the Department of Social Science at the University of Liverpool from 1953-1956, studies the relations between technical change, social structure, and attitudes to change at a single large steel plant. Its aim is to add to basic knowledge in industrial sociology and to produce data relevant to the development of industrial policy.
