The Lord has placed A King in You is Joy Monique's dedication to all boys of color who have been told by society that they are limited, undeserving of greatness and unworthy of blessings. She believes God has always seen His people as royalty and boys need to see themselves as He does! The poem throughout the pages was birthed from Donald Lawrence's song, "There is a King in You" after she birthed her son.
