Razorback basketball star, Tyler McCall was heading for the pros when a devastating knee injury caused by a teenager drunk driver, ended his career. Struggling with his anger, he has come to the small community in southeast Arkansas, where it all happened. He came to visit his grandparents, to let his shattered knee heal, and to see someone pays for the pain he has endured.

When seventeen-year-old Jennifer "Jenny" Reynolds almost runs into Tyler for a second time, she tells him her name is Jenny and she scouts cotton for his grandparents. She knows he would not want to have anything to do with her if he knew who she was. How can Jenny let this chance pass? So, she grabs it.
