Heart's Folly

Jake had ruined Mattie. So she is mighty wary when he offers her a job caring for his orphaned nieces and nephews in his home. Still, Mattie is desperate, and she adores the children. She accepts Jake's offer on two conditions. They marry for the children's sake, and be man and wife in name only. In her mind, Mattie thought she could resist, but her heart knew otherwise.
