Isaac M. Brown was born in 1821 in Indiana to John and Rachel Starnes Brown. He married in 1844 to Mary Ann Bishop. She was born in 1824 in Indiana to Daniel and Rebecca Bishop. Isaac and Mary had 6 children with 4 surviving beyond childhood. Mary died in 1856. Isaac remarried in 1859 to Mary Frances Eddy. She was born in 1839 in New Hmpshire to Eliphaz A. and Mary Stockwell Eddy. They had 8 children with only 2 surviving beyond childhood. Isaac died in 1891 while Mary died in 1907. Descendants lived in Indiana, California, Louisiana, Texas, and elsewhere.
