Richard Serra, Lemgo vectors

This book documents the creation, placement, and finished artifact of Richard Serra's recently completed public sculptural work Lemgo Vectors -- which consists of three large, 16 ton forged steel cubes, situated outside on the hilly Staff Foundation Landscape Park near the town of Lemgo. The book lavishly and meticulously documents this characteristically mysterious work of Serra's, and includes an extensive accounting by Serra about the entire concept of the project, from start to finish. As Klaus Korn and Walter Bergmeier of the Staff Foundation state, "Richard Serra has created a sculpture...which at once integrates into nature and is set apart from it."
