Planning Methods

This book provides an integrated framework for planning at the strategic and project level, emphasizing the improvement of plan- ning practice in organizations. It utilizes a methods approach to apply traditional planning methods to the health field. It also includes a careful description of planning techniques and the inte- gration of these techniques into a planning framework. Both the plan- ner and the plan's sponsor point of view are presented and case stu- dies which illustrate how most planning is done informally, with a low level of sophistication are included.
