Marie Curie

Denied entrance to college in her own country of Poland, Marie Curie studied at a university in Paris. She was the first woman to graduate with a degree in physics. She and her husband went on to discover two elements, polonium and radium. Readers will be inspired by the work and life of this scientist who went on to win two Nobel Prizes.
