$q$-Series from a Contemporary Perspective

Papers from a June 1998 conference reflect the diversity of areas that overlap with q-series, as well as the usefulness of q-series across the mathematical sciences. Some topics are singularity and monodromy of quasi-hypergeometric functions, incomplete elliptic integrals, measure algebras associated with orthogonal polynomials, and word straightening and q-Eulerian calculus.
